About CFK

We believe kids can change the world for the better with their curiosity and creativity...we are here to help them discover how.
GIVING TO LIVE, LIVING TO LEARN, LEARNING TO LOVE

Our goal is to alleviate poverty by empowering resource-deprived communities' children through project-based and inquiry-led learning so they can identify and solve local problems through collaboration, starting with Nima in Accra, Ghana. Citadel Foundation for Kids is a 501c3 charity in Virginia, U.S.A. and a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Ghana that enables students to give back in a personal and sustainable way by serving underprivileged children.

  • We offer service and intern opportunities for American and Ghanaian college students to collaborate towards understanding the quality of education that children in their assigned service communities receive. Our interns then connect with children, students, professors and professionals in both countries to share and execute innovative ideas to improve its quality.
