Forest Park High School Key Club 2012

In preparation for his first service project in Ghana as a W&L student, Emmanuel Abebrese, the founder of Citadel Foundation for Kids, collaborated with students of Forest Park High School’s Key club to collect donations of children’s clothing and school supplies to ship to orphanages and schools to Ghana. He implemented this project with funding from the Holleman Fellowship Grant and the Washington and Lee University’s Shepherd Poverty Program as an international intern. The students pictured above helped him load the donations unto his truck. This project connected him to schools in Prince William County in Northern Virginia as partners in child poverty alleviation projects.
